Terms and Conditions


These are the Terms and Conditions under which we provide cleaning services to our clients. They represent a contract between “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd and the Client. By booking “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd service by telephone, e-mail, fax or its website the Client agrees to be bound by “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd Terms and condition. Please read them carefully.

Domestic cleaning

When booking a domestic cleaning service with “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd you agree to the Terms and Conditions as listed below. Minimum of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:
“Service”– is the cleaning service provided by “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd
“Cleaner” – is the person who performs the actual cleaning service on behalf of “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd
“Regular client” – is a client who has booked a minimum of 4 cleans
“One-off client” – is a client who has booked less than 4 cleans
“Booking”– the use of one of our services on one particular occassion.

2. Keys/Alarms – for the client’s convenience they can leave a key with “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd. We provide absolute security. If a “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd operative needs to collect keys from a third party’s address outside the postal code of the home where the cleaning service will be provided then a £10.00 charge will apply. If the client prefers they can wait for our arrival and let us in themselves. If there is an alarm system at the address details on how to deactivate it should be provided or a person who can do it should be present. Details on how to secure the home after we are finished with our work should be provided at the discretion and responsibility of the client.

3. Payment options – clients may pay by cash or debit/credit card (UK only) no later than the day the cleaning service is provided. If payment is not available before the commencement of the cleaning service “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd reserves the right to decline service without notice.

4. VAT – All listed prices exclude VAT at 20 %.

5. Client Satisfaction policy – If for some reason the client is not satisfied with our domestic cleaning services we will re-clean the areas they are not happy with for no extra charge. Please call us within 24 hours of our first visit. We strive to achieve a 100% client satisfaction.

6. Insurance policy – “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd services are fully insured with a general liability insurance policy.

7. Cancellation policy – the client may cancel or reschedule a domestic cleaning service visit by giving a notice at least 24 hours in advance. The client may also cancel the whole cleaning service by giving a two week advanced notice. “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd reserves the right to postpone a cleaning visit if monthly payments for our domestic subscription cleaning services are missing.

8. Refunds – Refunds are available only if the client has cancelled the domestic cleaning service with a 24 hours advanced notice and a payment has already been made to “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd. No refund is available if the cleaning service has been already provided. If the agreed cleaning service is not provided to the client at “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd’s fault then a full refund will be given in case a payment has been made to “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd.

9. Breakage – The client should secure or remove any fragile, delicate, breakable or valuable items, including cash prior to beginning of the cleaning service. If by negligence our cleaners damage or lose any item the liability of “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd shall be limited to the repair or the replacement cost of the item, taking into account its age and condition. Any compensation claim should be notified to “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd in writing via letter, fax or email as soon as possible and in any event within 48 hours of the damage occurring.

10. Equipment/products – The client should provide a written list of tasks and all the cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd. If the Client does not have cleaning materials and asks “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd to purchase any items on their behalf, they agree that an applicable charge will be added.

11. Client Loyalty points – we value our clients and try to provide the best domestic cleaning service possible at the fairest price. That’s why we have devised our loyalty points system. Each of our clients can give points for the quality of service provided by any of our operatives. In this way we can make our service even better. On the other hand our regular clients are to receive points for loyalty as well– i.e. points on how well they have treated our employees. “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd reserves the right to deny service to clients who provoke scandals or behave rudely and unpolitely.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, and Wales.

Our domestic cleaning services cover the areas of the following London Borough Councils:

Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, Haringey, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Richmond upon Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets Waltham Forest, Wandsworth, Westminster.

End of Tenancy cleaning

When booking an End of Tenancy cleaning service with “Simple Cleaning London” Ltd you agree to the Terms and Conditions as listed below. Minimum of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies.
